Founder
Spilt Milk is a contemporary, slow fashion brand founded by designer Rosina Hoyland. Based in Wiltshire, UK.
Created from a fusion of her love for fashion, sustainability and collecting unusual and beautiful vintage textiles.
With a goal to change the way we consume and discard of not only fashion, but all of the industries that produce textile waste.
Sustainability
Reduce - Reuse
The textiles used in creating our garments can be damaged, stained, torn, or simply unwanted - we choose these textiles so that we can re-use what would otherwise be thrown away, helping to reduce existing textile waste from around the world.
Extra care is taken to create quality garments that will last for years to come, a way to preserve but also honour the craftsmanship gone into making the original textile.
Small Batch Production
Our Collections consist of either Small batches OR completely unique and one-of-a-kind items all made in the UK.
This model is an innovative approach to recycling textile waste whilst also creating contemporary, timeless and exciting collections.
ZERO WASTE
All off-cutts and remnants are kept and used for smaller projects like patchwork and accessories to further reduce our impact as a fashion brand on the environment.
